The rear dropouts are stamped 'BEN REG DESIGN' (on driveside) & 'CYCLO REG DESIGN' (on the left side) along with the frame number '609'. The bottom bracket is 'English threaded' and the frame number '609' is stamped on the driveside (right side) under the BB. 'Campione Del Mondo' decals, unknown model - circa 1970's.

A suspicious looking Pinarello...

Flipping the frame over it's clear by the M cut out that this is a Masi. The stamped code M53 indicating Masi / 53mm frame size.

Restored and painted double fork crown - M53 & 9 73 stamps confirm the frame dates to September 1973 and probably one of the last italian made Masi GC's before the move to Carlsbad.

A mix of incorrect parts: Super Record Pat. 80 front & rear derailleurs, simplex gear shifters, c-record headset & brake levers etc are removed to be replaced with full NR.
